Earlier this week, a 9-year-old girl was shot while selling Girl Scout cookies in her Indianapolis, Ind. neighborhood.

According to USA Today, Sinai Miller and her two youngest sisters were in the process of the completely innocent act on Tuesday afternoon when witnesses say an SUV drove past and opened fire. Miller, who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, was hospitalized in stable condition. Police in Indianapolis said the vehicle peeled off after the shots were fired.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Christopher Wilburn told USA Today that authorities do not think the bullets were intended for the children.

Miller has been released from the hospital, and her family told USA Today that she continues to ask "What did I do wrong?"
