A man who roams Times Square in a Winnie the Pooh costume has been arrested for the stabbing death of a man in a Midtown deli last week. Luis Martinez was stabbed at the New Star Cafe, which is apparently a hangout for costumed characters (seriously). The manager identified the assailant as Winnie the Pooh to police, and the suspect was taken into custody in Connecticut last night.

The Times also reports that "A man in Times Square dressed as Batman said on Friday that an Elmo had told him that the argument was over whose turn it was to buy beer." Childhood ruined.
