Nearly three months ago, Syfy made the first domino fall they confirmed that there would be a Sharknado 3. Things are really starting to come together now, as stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid have signed on for the third installment of the series along with director Anthony C. Ferrante and writer Thunder Levin.
Yes, you heard it right: the Dream Team is back.
After rising to cult status with the original Sharknado, the film series became the most-watched TV movie Syfy’s history when Sharknado 2: The Second One pulled in 3.9 million viewers. The titular sharknado now will return this July to take aim at the whole East Coast, where nobody within sight of the Atlantic Ocean will be safe from comical deaths and equally ridiculous dialogue.
