If the post-Ron Swanson era means we need to get used to Nick Offerman without a mustache, it’s going to take some serious adjusting.
Stepping onto the red carpet at Sundance, Offerman has rid himself of his signature stache and has instead opted for the Abraham Lincoln-esque chinstrap beard. Combined with the beanie, this guy is practically unrecognizable compared with the man we’ve come to know and love on Parks and Recreation.
No matter how many times you look at this photo, it’s going to be jarring. Offerman has long been held as the epitome of a man’s man, due in no small part to his lustrous mustache. How will he change now that his upper lip is exposed for the first time ever? The world is watching.
