Neil DeGrasse Tyson Is Getting a Talk Show on National Geographic

The "Cosmos" host is getting a new gig.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson took over your Sunday nights last year when he resurrected the iconic space documentary series Cosmos. But just as quickly as it started, its 13-episode season was over. Now it looks like Tyson has found his way back to television.

The astrophysicist (and former wrestler) just locked in a late night talk show on National Geographic called Star Talk, based on his podcast of the same name. It'll air in April, and will be taped in front of a live audience at the American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium in New York City. Star Talk will focus on pop culture and science—both of which are Tyson's specialties, when he's not busy becoming a meme.

So expect Star Talk on NatGeo to be more of the same. And that's a good thing.
