Footage Shows Kidnapping Suspect Looking Directly Into Security Camera After Forcing Victim into Vehicle's Trunk

Surveillance footage released by police in Arlington, Texas shows a man forcing a woman into the trunk of her vehicle at gunpoint before fleeing in it. Just before driving off, the suspect looks directly into the camera. 

At around 3 a.m. on Jan. 14, the woman pulls up to a Wells Fargo ATM to make withdrawal. After doing so, the armed suspect enters the frame, taking the money and ordering the woman into her vehicle's trunk. According to the Dallas Morning News, the woman was able to make a safe escape about 40 minutes later when the man stopped the car in Euless, Texas and walked away. She then ran to a local convenience store for assistance. 

The Morning News described the suspect, who can be seen staring directly into the camera in the video: 


The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s. He is about 5-foot-6 and has short hair. He was wearing a grey hooded jacket and jeans, police said. The suspect may have been involved in another robbery around 2:40 a.m. at the same bank on Collins Street, police said.
