Everyone's No one's prayers have been answered! In an interview with MTV News, resident weird director Tim Burton confirmed that a Beetlejuice sequel is happening. "Oh yeah," Burton said. "Oh yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Yeah yeah, oh yeah."

Burton also answered the next most important question: If you're doing a sequel, are the actors from the original coming back? Apparently, yes. Burton said Winona Ryder would be back, and earlier in the year, Michael Keaton said he'd be down to do another Beetlejuice if Burton was—AND BURTON DEFINITELY IS. No word on Alec Baldwin yet though.

Now, we're not totally sure there are a ton of Beetlejuice stans out there begging for a sequel more than 25 years in the making. And we already have multiple examples of Tim Burton rebooting classics, and they're not pretty. But guess what—the movie industry is pretty much out of ideas. So deal with it, bruh.
