The no indictment verdict in the case of the shooting and killing of Mike Brown by officer Darren Wilson sparked protests in Ferguson, MO as well as other parts of the country, including New York, Seattle, Washington D.C. However it was in Minneapolis where a car tried to drive through a group of protestors, running one woman over.

The incident was caught on tape this afternoon near the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd precinct headquarters. Witnesses at the site said the car that would eventually run the woman over began honking at protestors who were blocking the street before moving forward and running over the woman's leg.

At that point protestors rushed the car with some hitting the car while others tried to help the woman caught under the car. She immediately received medical care and was then taken to the Regions Hospital. The woman sustained minor injuries.

As of now the driver of the car is allegedly cooperating with police although he isn't under arrest.
