Retired host Jay Leno made his first appearance on the Tonight Show last night since handing it over to Jimmy Fallon. There have been lots of jokes made at Leno's expense, from Fallon and others, especially about the take-back Leno pulled on Conan O'Brien a few years ago. This, time, it was Leno's turn.

Leno also says he drove his motorcycle to Long Island and then rode the bus to Rockefeller Center, if you want to believe that. The real reason he made an appearance, though, was to promote his new show Jay Leno's Garage on CNBC and Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize.

Jay is certainly an icon, but boy are we glad Fallon's ushering in a new age for late night.
