Workers on the London Underground will hold a 48-hour strike next week as a result of ongoing disputes over staff cuts.
The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers union (RMT) confirmed that its members had been told not to book any shifts between 9pm BST on Tuesday and 8:59pm on Thursday.
The strike is in relation to ongoing disputes over Transport for London's (TfL) savings announcement of up to £50m a year that could be made by closing ticket offices.
Strikes were also called in January and April, but a 72-hour strike in May was suspended.
