Spanish Ebola Patient's Condition Upgraded to Stable

She's still in serious condition, but this is good news.

According to health officials in Spain, the condition of the nursing assistant who was diagnosed with the Ebola virus has upgraded to stable. 

Just hours after Madrid regional government health chief Javier Rodriquez said Teresa Romero's was in critical condition, a spokesperson for Carlos lll hospital in Madrid revealed that her condition had improved to stable. 

To date, Romero is the first person to contract the disease outside of West Africa.
