Confused Grandmas Are Tagging Their Facebook Posts as Grandmaster Flash

The message. From your grandma.

Adding your family on Facebook usually sucks—having your Mum write messages with too many xs and seeing all the soft-porn your dad accidentally likes makes for awkward surfing.

It turns out that grandmas around the world are also getting in on the act by accidentally signing off their status updates and wall posts to friends and family with Grandmaster Flash's Facebook page, one of hip-hop's most notable pioneers.

And it's actually quite easy to explain: if you begin typing "Grandma" when you're posting something on Facebook, a box pops asking you if you'd like to tag Grandmaster Flash – leading to confused old ladies and the grandchildren they love.

"Grandma-master Flash" has been incredibly busy.
