Today Marvel's Ant-Man began filming in San Francisco and announced a new cast member we didn't see coming to join stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas: T.I.. There's no word yet on what the rapper's roll will be, but we're excited to see him break into the superhero genre after also adding comedy to his repertoire in 2013's Identity Thief and Get Hard, set for a 2015 release, with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.
Some of the other new names announced today include The Wire's Wood Harris (no relation to T.I.) and Michael Peña, whose roles are also unspecified at this time. Ant-Man will hit theatres July 17, 2015.
