Movie trailers exist solely to market a film and build an indomitable wall of hype that no mere mortal can penetrate.
They're constructs of embellishment and thus ripe for ridicule. Who hasn't seen a movie based solely on the strength of a trailer and been subsequently disgruntled? I went to see Drive because I thought it was going to be the next entry of Fast and the Furious; I never got my $12.50 back.
Trailer Hitch is here to help. Let us suss out the trash and keep that $12.50 firmly in your pocket.
