SDCC 2014 is in full effect and as far as day one reveals, this ranks fairly high on the heat index.

343 Industries, the studio behind Halo 4, unveiled the first footage of Halo: Nightfall. Nightfall is the Ridley Scott produced live-action series debuting across Xbox platforms this November. Halo: Nightfall will follow the story of Jameson Locke, a "a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence." Locke will also be a playable character in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians, scheduled to drop next year. Locke will be played in both the live-action series and Guardians by Mike Colter.

Nightfall takes place between Halo 4 and Halo 5 and we can now consider ourselves appropriately hyped on the entire project.
