Texas Gov. Rick Perry has no time for President Obama, unless it involves what he wants to discuss.
Obama is in Austin, Texas today, and Perry declined Obama's invitation to greet him for the standard tarmac handshake upon Air Force One's landing. As Perry explained in a letter, he had more pressing matters:
None
Perry has reportedly taken issue with how the president has handled Texas' border security, something he passed a letter to a White House adviser about when he met Obama at an Austin airport back in 2010. However, Politico reports that the two will meet to discuss the issue today.
In the grand scheme of things, isn't this just a little petty?
