Reese Witherspoon has been doing some interesting things lately, such as getting DUIs and having hilarious elevator interactions. This project, though, is much of a nicer variety.
Witherspoon is starring in The Good Lie, a true story about a woman who takes in four Sudanese refugees and helps them adjust to life in the United States. It comes from the same producers as The Blind Side, who seem to specialize in the special sort of bonding between a mother figure and her adoptive children that can only happen in the movies.
The trailer is above, and the movie hits theaters October 3.
