Netflix Summarizes Three Seasons of "The Killing" in Less Than Two Minutes

The Killing may no longer be on television, but that won’t stop it from continuing to exist. Netflix has decided to take on the former AMC show that was a hit, then canceled, then uncanceled, then canceled again, all in a span of three seasons.

They’ll be debuting the fourth and final season on August 1, and it will pick up right where Season 3 left off. Detectives Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) will be working on a new case, this time a murder of an entire family save for one person. Joan Allen will be appearing as the headmaster of the surviving family member’s all-boys military school.
