Reports of Halo: Master Chief Collectionleaked a few weeks ago, but today Microsoft confirmed the massive Halo games bundle as well as access to Halo 5: Guardians.
The collection will contain Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4, all on one disc. The primary focus however is the completely high definition remake of Halo 2. The game has been rebuilt from scratch for the Xbox One but will include quirks like the ability to change back and forth between a classic view and what Halo 2 will now look like on the Xbox One.
The HD collection will also feature access to the upcoming Halo 5 beta as well as access to the upcoming live-action series from executive producer Ridley Scott dubbed Halo: Nightfall.
Halo: Master Chief Collection will be out for the Xbox One on November 11 for $60 and the Halo 5: Guardians beta is set to begin sometime in December.
