This Raunchy "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" Poster Was Deemed Too Sexy by the MPAA

We all know that Frank Miller’s Sin City franchise isn’t for the kiddies, but apparently the new poster for the movie’s sequel proved to be too much for the prudish MPAA. According to Page Six, the governing board refused to approve the latest poster for the film, featuring Eva Green in an ultra-sexy see-through robe. The site is reporting that the poster won’t be seen in theater lobbies “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.”

While this won’t be a complaint for the film’s target audience, the organization obviously doesn’t appreciate the hyper-sexualized noir feel of the poster. Apparently the studio is working on a compromise with the MPAA for a new version. You can see the axed image below:
