The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) might have defined what a video game controller should be – D-pad and an array of buttons – but the company's most recent controllers are designed for motion. Mercifully, with Super Smash Bros. Wii U right around the corner, the company is releasing a controller inspired by its older console, the GameCube.

The controller is pictured above. It looks nothing like the GameCube's controller, but who am I to judge Nintendo's sense of design. The effect remains the same, it is going be be way easier and more accessible to bash your friends to bits with the new spread of buttons.

Dubbed the “Flight Pad” the white angled controller will cost $25. What do you think? Cop or drop?
