Along with the announcement earlier today that the new show Girl Meets World will be premiering on June 27, Disney has released a trailer that features Riley (Rowan Blanchard), the daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) Matthews.
In this sneak peak, we see Riley possessing a distinctly similar, precocious attitude much like her father had when he was a middle school student navigating the perils of tween life. While this new iteration will be hard-pressed to show the kind of soul that Boy Meets World possessed, it looks like they’ll at least make full use of Savage and Fishel in an attempt to lure in fans of the original series.
Expect more trailers to drop between now and June 27, but for now this will have to do:
