Subway Customer Angered by Cookie Prices Steals From Register

A customer was angry about the price of cookies at a Subway, so he decided to steal from the register.

Today's lesson on how not to react when buying cookies at Subway comes to us from Pompano Beach, Fla. where a man responded to the high price of baked goods by stealing from the register.

 

According to Local 10 News, the man first picked up a soda and bag of chips, but put them back in favor of cookies. After complaining about the price of said snacks, the unidentified assailant gave the cashier a dollar, jumped over the counter, and grabbed "a fistful of $5 bills" before making his escape.

While a handful of fives may seem like a terrible reason to commit a felony (and a massive overreaction to cookie prices), consider the fact that cookies are really, really delicious.
