Authorities in New York City say a Harlem stabbing ignited a confrontation between pedestrians and police last night.

According to Gothamist, an NYPD spokesman said that Adela Leon, 38, stabbed an unidentified 34-year-old woman around 10:15 p.m. Video footage taken by witnesses captured the madness, which drew the response of roughly 100 police officers after cops on the scene exerted force to arrest someone.

The NYPD said that was the lone arrest, and the stabbing victim was treated for minor injuries at Harlem Hospital. Leon, who was charged with assault, resisting arrest and criminal possession of a weapon, was taken to Metropolitan Hospital with minor injuries.
