Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn makes the jump from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 today with the offer of a free upgrade if you own it on the last-gen system. PlayStation 4 owners were previously able to play the beta since the game's launch last year but have had to wait a few months to get the full experience. One positive, next-gen owners won't have to experience the massive server grind that accompanied the launch of the original.
To upgrade between the PS3 and PS4 versions you'll have needed to played the game at least once on the last-gen console and acquire a promotion code. Check out the details here.
