Epic is often used hyperbolically, but the teaser trailer for the CGI-animated Peanuts movie is just that. In the beginning, "Also sprach Zarathustra"—a.k.a., the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey—accompanies the screen as the planet-sized head of Charlie Brown is revealed. But, it certainly is sweet to see Snoopy antagonizing Charlie as the "Linus and Lucy" theme plays in the background.
The movie will be the first feature-length Peanuts film since 1980's Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!).
Peanuts was written by Craig Schulz (Charlie Schulz's son), Bryan Schulz (grandson) and CorneliusUliano. It hits theaters on November 6, 2015.
