Shailene Woodley and the "Divergent" Cast Get Candid About Fight Scenes and "Insurgent"

The next big hope among Hollywood's many YA adaptations.

Many have tried, and nearly all of them have failed. From The Host to The Mortal Instruments and everything in between, a bevy of films over the last couple of years have been released in hopes of being the next big YA sensation, a la The Hunger Games.

The latest contender to challenge Lionsgate's behemoth franchise actually hails from the same studio. An adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel of the same name, Divergent lands in theatres this weekend with an incredible amount of hype and anticipation. Focus on Tris Proir (Shailene Woodley), the film is set in a post-apocalyptic Chicago where civilization is separated into five different factions. Tris is a Divergent, meaning she fits in with all of them. Determined to keep her secret safe, she soon stumbles upon a dark plot that could threaten all of her kind.

Recently, our friends at We Got This Covered had the chance to sit down with Woodley and her co-stars to discuss what it was like acting in front of a green screen, plans for a sequel, and more.

Check out the video above and be sure to catch Divergent when it opens in theaters this Friday.
