Before Nokia's smartphone division officially gets absorbed into Microsoft, it has another trick up its sleeve.

The company will be unveiling an Android phone this month nicknamed "Normandy" at the Mobile World Conference in Spain. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Nokia Android phone will use a modified version of the OS, and will weave in Microsoft services with a special application store.

Some leaked photos that users claim to be of the Normandy have made their way to the Internet. The design doesn't seem to be anything advanced or unique, but this could be part of Nokia's plan as they set their sight's on the low-cost market. Stay tuned for more come February 24.
