For months, fans were under the assumption that Jamie Foxx’s Electro would be the main villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2; however, it was later revealed that both the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) would also play big roles in the film.

While Electro and the Rhino are newcomers to the Spider-Man franchise, the Goblin has been seen twice before, as Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe) in 2002’s Spider-Man and Harry Osborn (James Franco) in Spider-Man 3.

Both previous versions of the character came under fire from fans who were disappointed in how their respective looks strayed from the source material. Well now Total Film has landed an exclusive image of what DeHaan’s version of the Harry Osborn Goblin will look like in Amazing Spider-Man 2. And even though there are things to like about it, it’s still a total deviation from the comics.

As opposed to the traditional mask and costume, it looks like this time the Goblin will undergo more of a physical transformation, similar to how the character is portrayed in the Ultimate Spider-Man series. With the green skin and pointed features, it seems like DeHaan won’t need a suit to become the Goblin. Take a look at the image below:

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will hit theaters on May 2.
