A highlight from Martin Scorsese's recent appearance on Conan: Whilst promoting his newest film The Wolf of Wall Street, Scorsese was asked to recall a time that he took quaaludes, the mind-numbing drug featured heavily as one of the many vices Wolf lead Jordan Belfort indulged in during the '90s.
Apparently, the film brought in an "expert" to instruct stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill on exactly how to act when they did their quaaludes scenes, and, at one point, Scorsese "put a few words in" as well. Who'dve thought? Granted, his experience wasn't as intense as Belfort's, but it's still an interesting bit of trivia.
