For the most part, Facebook has played it relatively safe when it comes to design changes on the website. Updates usually come out slowly at a small scale, with users in international markets getting the first taste of new features before they hit America. Facebook has been smart to keep things under control; we only have to look as far as MySpace to see the danger of granting users the power of too much customization.
