Burial Teases New Music, Tells Fans to Expect Delays, Blame 'Dark Souls II"

Self-avowed fan of the title posts selfie to boot.

Burial, the enigmatic wizard of anonymous lo-fi electronic music, has taken to Hyperbub's website to post a selfie and pen a thank you to his fans.

Aside from the selfie, the note also came with a small aside about why you may not be seeing any new music from the artist:

"I want to do some new tunes this year to send to my boss Steve and the label because they've been going 10 years now and have stuck by me. Hopefully by the end of most years I have done some tunes that are decent enough to release, but Dark Souls 2is on the horizon soon so I'm not sure if I will have many new tunes for a while because I need to play that game a lot. But I'm going to try to get some new tunes together before it comes out."

Dark Souls II drops March 11 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and promises to be just as brutally unforgiving as the first Dark Souls.
