A block on pornography by Internet service providers in the United Kingdom as part of a child safety initiative is proving to be an obstacle for League of Legends players.
The issue is due to file names such as "VarusExpirationTimer.luaobj" and "XerathMageChainsExtended.luaobj" that include the character string "s-e-x," the Guardian reports.
Those who download the update are getting "File Not Found" errors, and it seems the only recourse for players is to call up their Internet Service Providers and ask for them to disable the firewall.
Luckily, the firewall isn't affecting the majority of UK players. It is only being introduced with new Internet connections, so most people can get both their pornography and their League of Legends without any problems.
