The reveal trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game just dropped with a few surprises. Yes, you will be flip-flopping all over the city in a motion sickness induced blur but also revisiting one of the comic series' most complex and interesting characters, Kraven the Hunter.
While it's unclear whether Kraven be a villain in Spider-Man 2 game he seems to be a helping hand in this trailer directing Spidey on how to become an apex predator like the himself.
In the comic series Kraven dethrones Spidey as the city's top crime fighter, capturing Spider-Man and donning his costume to prove he was a better vigilante. Kraven original story ended by the ultimate predator killing himself, just to prove no one else could do it; damn.
While this videogame version of Kraven can almost be guaranteed to not be as complex, he seems to be at least offering to help out of the webbed crusader to clean up the city. Sadly Kraven's trademark costume has been changed in the trailer, hopefully that can be changed back to all it's fluffy greatness.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 drops as a movie tie-in with the film release May 2 on every console, including Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and PC. Stay tuned for more details.
