Hopefully you haven't been holding your breath to find out what becomes of MTV's newest teen moms since the finale of Teen Mom 3 last month—if so, bad news. (Also, start breathing again). According to Us Weekly, MTV has officially canceled Teen Mom 3 after just one season.

No official reason has been given for the cancellation, but the network did release the following statement: "MTV will not be moving forward with a second season of Teen Mom 3. We’re thankful to Briana, Katie, Mackenzie, Alex and their families for sharing their stories as they navigate young parenthood and for helping to have a positive impact on the importance of teen pregnancy prevention." Though it's not been confirmed, there's speculation that the series may have been canceled because nothing actually happened for like half of last season.

Additionally, Us Weekly reports that any rumors about star Mackenzie Douthit and her now-husband Josh McKee getting their own spin-off reality show are false—and MTV has reportedly said there's "no truth" to the claims. Guess we'll never be able to find out how that fight between Mackenzie and Josh in the Teen Mom 3 finale turned out! (Hint: They got married and she's pregnant again: so it turned out just fine.)

Sorry, guys!
