Can't wait for new episodes of BBC's Sherlock? Unfortunately, season three isn't set to premiere in the states until January 19 (unlike the UK, where it's going to premiere on BBC One on Jan. 1), so we've still got a couple of more weeks to wait before we can see just how Sherlock has been faring since faking his own death at the close of season two.

Luckily, though, to help tide fans over until then, BBC has just released a new 7-minute mini episode titled "Many Happy Returns," to give us a glimpse of what to expect when the series is back. And, as it turns out: Just because Sherlock is supposed to be dead, that doesn't mean he's not been keeping himself busy with different cases outside of London. And hey, the whole gang is there! This season is going to be great.

You can check out the mini-episode above. Sherlock's third season will premiere on PBS on January 19, at 10 p.m. ET.
