After accidentally leaking images from an upcoming game in promotional materials for Peter Jackson's new Hobbit film over the weekend, Warner Bros. Interactive reveled today a new lego-themed game, Lego the Hobbit.

Lego the Hobbit will features characters and stories from Jackson’s ongoing trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, The Hobbit. The latest entry being, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which hits theatres on December 13.

Players will lead the band of unlikely and height-challenged heroes of Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf and a bucket-full of Dwarves, no less than 13 each with a special ability, as they charge their way toward the Dwarven kingdom of Erebor and the Lonely Mountain.

Lego the Hobbit will be released in 2014 on everything with an on switch. Mac, PC, Nintendo 3DS, PS4, PS3, PSVita, WII U, Xbox One and 360.
