The Moto X is Google and Motorola's Frankenstein-like creation that let's users customize the look of the phone by using the company's Moto Maker software.

Moto Maker was exclusive to AT&T for most of the past few months, and it just recently opened up for Verizon customers, who were only able to get a white or black version. Now those same black and white versions or for sale through Amazon for a single penny with a two-year contract. Verizon customers can still pick up a customized Moto Maker Moto X through the company for $50 with a contract, but if you're cool on trying to make the phone (that you're going to upgrade in two years, anyway) all customized, then hit up Amazon for their deal. Amazon's package is good for both in lines of services and upgrades, so many people will be eligible to pick this bad boy up.  The phone is also the first phone to get upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat, which started rolling out today. We don't know how long the deal will last, though, so don't sleep on it. Check out our review of the Moto X here.

How's a penny for your thoughts?
