This Is a Preview of Williamsburg's Whole Foods

The real estate boom continues.

This is what gentrification looks like. Whole Foods scored a $45 million loan to set up shop at 240 Bedford Avenue which, in addition to Whole Foods, will also include a New York Sports Club and luxury apartments. It's 150,000-square-feet of "urban revitalization" that will swallow the entire block. No word on what the rents for this place will look like, but considering the facts that it's new, located in Williamsburg and has a shiny new gym and grocery store, they'll probably be high.
