The NBA is going to get a little more tech savvy thanks to Samsung and a cool $100 million.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Samsung has struck a deal with the NBA to provide courtside tablets and TVs. Referees, coaches, and players will now reportedly use the new technology during games for the next three years. (So expect to see a ton of Galaxy Tabs 3s this season.) Samsung will also be getting a ton of extra exposure along with the deal, and the NBA will likely piece together footage for Samsung to use during ads, among other things. But this isn't exactly new territory for Samsung, as they already had a big endorsement from LeBron James last season, and ran a Jay Z ad during the NBA Finals. Samsung also had a partnership with the Phoenix Suns, where the provided the staff with Samsung devices to use during their training and duties.

As long as that's less exposure for Apple, it's a win for Samsung.
