With the huge success of Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar Games, the creator of the GTA series, knew the online launch was going to be rocky, and it has been. Rockstar has posted a list of known issues as it attempts to get everyone online in a stable environment.

Last week before GTA Online went live, Rockstar posted this pre-emptive statement in reference to likely bugs, crashes and server crush that players could expect:

"We are working around the clock to buy and add more servers, but this increased scale is only going to make the first few days even more temperamental than such things usually are."

Some of the confirmed bugs and errors include: "Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable" error message, freezing on first load screen, "Failed to Host GTA Online Session," errors saying "Mission Failed" as soon as the mission begins and various server time-outs, disconnections and social club freezes. Check out the complete list here.

Some unconfirmed bugs deal with the integration between the single player and multiplayer games. As a precaution we recommend disabling the auto-save feature as some users have experienced the online game effecting their single player weapons and vehicles.
