This makes us feel old.

In case you still haven’t had enough of the ongoing wave of nostalgia, here’s yet another throwback for you to spend hours reminiscing over.

Thanks to an easy-to-use software emulator launched by the folks at the Internet Archive, you can now run old applications in your browser. This retooled version of the Javascript MESS Project allows users of any current browser to run software from decades ago - that includes games, productivity applications, and pretty much anything else you can think of - fairly painlessly. And, to make things even easier, the group has also released the Historical Software Collection, where you can find a list of classic software to try out. Take a trip down memory lane with Pac-man, ET, and a handful of Atari games.
