Most of you aren’t going to end up in a field related to your major. The most recent census found that only a quarter of the workforce are employed in the field they pursued in college. We’d imagine that if you take out majors like nursing and accounting, that number shrinks even further. Maybe, then, it's time to think about what majors prepare you for life even if you don’t end up going into your intended field.

Some majors teach skills that are applicable to any career. No matter what field you're in, learning a second language will likely increase your changes of finding work.
