Just as rumored earlier this summer, Ben Foster will portray disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong in an upcoming biopic set to be directed by The Queen director Stephen Frears.

According to Deadline, the studio has officially confirmed Foster as the lead, and added that The IT Crowd star Chris O'Dowd will play journalist David Walsh—the man who penned the book that the movie is based off, Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit Of Lance Armstrong, and was key in revealing Armstrong's doping scandal. The script has been written by Trainspotting's John Hodge, and Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons will also star.

This is the second scripted Lance Armstrong-centric film, and the third altogether: Warner Bros. is reportedly working on Red Blooded American with Bradley Cooper set to star as Armstrong and Jay Roach directing,  and there's an upcoming documentary on Armstrong, The Armstrong Lie, set to be released as well. There's a Lance Armstrong film for everyone!
