The Season Three Premiere of "Homeland" Leaked This Weekend

If you were one of the 100,000 people who downloaded it, 20th Century Fox has employed their anti-piracy unit to investigate you.

If you weren't one of the 100,000 people who illegally downloaded the Homeland season three premiere when it leaked onto the Internet this past weekend, breaking news: The Homeland season three premiere leaked onto the Internet this past weekend, and 100,000 people illegally downloaded it.

If you were one of the 100,000 people who illegally downloaded the episode, though, the breaking news here is a little more grim: Apparently, 20th Century Fox is pretty pissed that the episode leaked early, so they've put their anti-piracy team on the case to investigate how the episode found its way online after only being entrusted in the hands of critics during July's Television Critics Association Event. So, don't download the episode, guys.

That's not all, though—Variety is reporting this even worse piece of news: The episode "is missing both the opening credits and a few special effects." What is Homeland without that crazy long intro and its few special effects? That is not a question I want to have an answer to. It would probably be something like that SNL skit with Anne Hathaway, though, if I were to guess.
