Yesterday, Shake Shack announced that it would finally begin serving fresh cut fries at its Upper East Side location. This new measure took effect immediately, meaning the chain must've heard the cries for better fries loud and clear. Shake Shack Fries 2.0 will only be available at this location for the moment, but CEO Randy Garutti says that in due time, every Shake Shack will serve fresh cut fries.
In the meantime, Shake Shack kitchens will have to be fitted with brand spanking new machinery to faciliate the production of the new fries. It's a new day, kids.
