Hard to imagine a way to improve upon one of the greatest Super Nintendo titles of the 16-bit era, but artist Dave Rapoza has managed to do just that.

Taking Super Metroid, the 1994 SNES classic, and creating a less than two minute anime is our must watch video of the morning. Done in the stlyle of the late 80s/early 90s classic animes like Cyber City Oedo 808 and early Appleseed, the stylized short does the Metroid franchise a whole lot of justice. Samus lands, tracks, and hunts all in Rapoza's stunning hand-drawn art. Seriously, stop what you are doing and watch this joint.
