Tomorrow, June 24, AOL will launch Reader, its very own RSS platform for news. Currently in private beta, AOL Reader "will give users a way to find new content online," Mashable reports. With Google Reader officially ending July 1, AOL Reader is positioning itself to fill the void. Its tagline--"All your favorite websites, in one place"--does however hint at AOL Reader being more than just a news aggregator.
Digg Reader, which will provide a simple, fast and functional way for users to reach news, is also rolling out this week, with plans to be fully up and running by June 26.
