Oh, for the love of all things holy, this kind of makes our Memorial Day weekend all the sweeter.

According to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, speaking at the 2013 STIFEL Technology Conference this past week, now that EA and Disney's exclusive multi-year deal is sealed, we can expect to start seeing Star Wars titles in the very near future.

Will one of those titles be Battlefront 3?  He did mention it by name.

"The opportunity to do a new Battlefront, for example, which is one of the very popular Star Wars games, or some of the other traditional games that were made, is very exciting."

You bet it is, Blake. Talking about the new titles from EA wouldn't be directly tied to the new films, but would instead be released around the same time.

"These aren't movie games, per se; these are stand-alone games," he said. "But obviously they would come out near the movies and be able to tailgate off of some of the buzz that will be created around the new Star Wars movies."

How does that sit with you? Let us know.
