This is a joke, right?

Sex and the City is over, ok? Everyone just needs to deal with it. The first movie was probably too much, the second movie was definitely too much, and a third is just unfair to civilization.

Sarah Jessica Parker was at the AOL Newfronts this week to promote her web series, City Ballet, and hinted at a possible SATC reunion. "I've been saying...there is one story left to tell. If it is, in fact, the right time and the right place, maybe we should tell it," she said.

What? No. Please, no. There's already a SATC prequel, The Carrie Diaries, and it has been almost 10 years since the original show went off the air. Carrie Bradshaw is actually the worst (evidence: BuzzFeed) and has unfortunately inspired "journalists" to pursue careers that involve buying Vogue instead of food.

It's seriously unclear why they would even consider a third film after the critical shitstorm the second one got. If you haven't read Lindy West's scathing review, "Burkas and Birkins," do it now. SATC was a pop culture moment (ok, juggernaut), but that moment is over. Let's move on, shall we?
